What got me was how little the Bid needed to be dropped in order to accommodate his large position on the sell, compared to the following substantial and sustained run up in the Asked based on, what appeared to me to be, very little buying volume.
So, opposite side of trade are sudden and abundant buyer(s) at a mere tick down in cost? (or some market maker really did his job and "made the market")
And then very, very few sellers willing to part with their shares against a sudden rabid demand from small buyers for shares at any costs.
Just did not seem to be enough demand to have produced that run up.
One large seller thinking he needs to reduce his holdings because he sees continued downside, followed by many small buyers who suddenly must have the stock at any cost on no news?
Maybe someone can explain the price / volume action to the upside.
