I don't understand. The PDS Management Committee is made of 3 members. A TPL rep, a PTSC rep, and a mutually approved "Independent" manager. Per the PR, the contract of the "Indpendent" manager expired at the end of May and the position has not been filled.
For the last 4 years, that "independent" rep has been Robert Neilson, a TPL employee. Despite many shareholders peppering PTSC with questions as to how a TPL employee could be "independent", and how this protected PTSC's interests, and how discord could be properly worked through when majority vote was all that was required by PDS management committee, and when the TPL employee "independent" manager would likely be subject to losing his job if he were to go against TPL's vote, the company dismissed those questions.
Lo and behold, after the April lawsuit disclosures, I called TPL and asked for Robert Neilson. Much to my NON-surprise, I was told that he was no longer there. Interestingly, he voted with PTSC on those resolutions. Was he released becuase of that? How many other votes did he go with TPL to protect his job? Did he leave on his own because he saw the train a comin', and thought it best to get out of the way? Who knows. The point is, PTSC agreed to an arrangement that was clearly lopsided AGAINST PTSC, and now is forced into legal action to rectify the imbalances. This is just ONE example of that. Yet, we're expected to believe that my criticism, or milestone's support of the BOD is why PTSC is where it is.
