All these companies have had years to prepare defenses for their infringment of our product(the MMP) due to our inability to promptly persue infringers. The MMP patents have revolutionized an industry on enormous proportions. The infringment is so vast by almost every maker of modern microprocessor it is mind boggling. And yet, you have to ask yourself how have we managed to place ourselves in the situation we are in today? Could it be totally incompetance? There is no law to prosecute those guilty of stupidity alone. Smart people realize that and sometimes use it to their benefit, not yours. It makes you wonder...is the Fox in the Hen House? Collusion could involve enormous amounts of money. There is so much to gain, or loose. Out of all the parties involved who would be more susceptible to outside influence? Who would be in a position to help them? Instincts are usually correct in these matters.
There was a time when I bet when Mr. Moore thought that greed was a virtue in others. Not so much now? Funny how this greed is not evident in the product of negoiations with infringers? But what am I, an unenlightened investor, suppose to think? After all someone is being sued for fraud concerning some of these events.
