That is part and parcel of my posts going back a few years regarding 'monetization' of the MMP. The BoD failed to originally, and properly, recognize the future obstacles and expenses of the path they decided to take. On the one hand, the interests could have been sold to a major player who then could have much more effectively, and richly, monetized the MMP ...... for any number of reasons, and thus we would have received the present value of (undoubtedly larger) future revenue streams discounted to allow for a fair return to the MMP purchaser. One could readily make the case that we might have received the equivalent of anywhere from .50 to $1.50 per share. Instead, our BoD decided to team up with a small-time shyster.

The BoD members have been enormously enriched.

The attorneys have been enormously enriched.

The shareholders have been left holding the bag.

Most "affairs" end up being damn costly; this one is no exception.
