My point is negotiations are one thing and court proceedings that rip apart and analyze every document and product are quite another thing. Seventy-five companies licensed because they didn't want to go to court. The T3 on the other hand seems to have dug their heels in. Anything they can prove or cast doubt on only reduces their infringement.
They may still settle rather than taking this court battle to an end. However, they may also clear many of their products of infringement by winning some of the battles along the way.
I wish we knew what TPL is asking for with regards to licensing fees.
