This might be much more interesting than it appears at first glance. If you look at AMCAD's website you'll see that they have implemented their Justice System Platform at several different Courts. But the system that was implemented in the past was not complete. From the AMCAD site.

<Our Court solution simply had to interface and integrate with several other systems (Magistrate, Jail Management to name a few) to obtain this information. Our Justice Platform provides these agencies and users with a common integrated and seamless platform, significantly reducing and often eliminating the need for integration. While some integration is still required with law enforcement and state and federal departments, integration at the local level is significantly reduced with our Justice Platform. >

Is it possible that there is more emphasis being placed on a complete system that is capable of sharing with law enforcement, state and federal depts? The pr containing the Oklahoma contract award only mentions us in one brief sentance referring to the NIEM compliant integration tool. Has NIEM compliance become that important, such that AMCAD's justice platform is outdated? Would AMCAD's prior installations be candidates for such an integration upgrade ? Would Cook County court system, second largest in the USA, want to upgrade AMCAD's installed justice system to make it totally integrated?
