Opty,

IMHO, she failed the shareholders by not doing her job properly. All of the DD should have been done on Avot, Talis, and others before any money was spent. The bookeeping at PDS should have been monitored and it was not--not properly, anyway.

She may feel compassion or guilt--that is not what I heard today, however. Can you imagine other companies allowing a CPA who has not done their job properly to stay on board because they feel compassion or guilt? I think that they would just suggest that she move on over to that company that is willing to pay her 275 dollars more an hour.
