I, too, have extensive experience in such issues ... Virt's analysis is sound. So I believe Gloria answered truthfully. Ninty-six grand is reasonable compensation for her contributions, IMO.
Also, IMO her asserted qualifications are significantly related to her duties as both employee and inside Director. I think it is unfair to disparage them.
Would I prefer more expert outside leadership on the Board? Heavens, yes.
But in any arena of limited resources and human judgment you don't always get the ideal. Just ask any Hewlett-Packard shareholder over the past 10 years how much money their Board has cost shareholders.
I am optimistic about continuing pursuit of licenses, and believe the need to keep them confidential. At some point that confidentiality must be pierced, obviously. I dream it will be when our legal case is so sound that licensing strategy is publically advertised as comprising both an initial generous fee AND a continuing royalty stream.
Until then I try to keep thoughts of a marvelous hoax and con out of mind.
