If a parent decides to purchase a car for their child believing that this would be a good thing for the child, and the parent neglects to do their due diligence in selecting the car and as a result, the car fails and the child is injured....who is to blame?
If the same parents decide to purchase another car for their child and again neglects to do their due diligence and the car fails and the child is injured...who is to blame?
If the same parents repeat the same scenario a few times more times and against the concerns of the child and the child is injured again.....who is to blame..the child or the parent? I suppose one could make an argument that the car manufacturer is to blame. IMHO....the parent should be removed from having custody of their child.
To make matters worse, the parents are well fed, have plenty of money, while their child is totally neglected, starving and begging for scraps. Would common sense tell you that these parents are doing everything they can to be good parents and to ensure the well being of their child?
