Message: OK Brian and GKRichard how about you both answer the simple question

Do you think contantly posting disparaging remarks about the BOD is more likely to have a positive or negative affect on the stock price. An answer that it doesn't affect it at all is not an answer as we are talking about the likelihood - so think of it this way if you need to - assuming posting does affect sentiment and therefore price of a stock, would it be more likely to affect it positively or negatively.

You ask what I think and then you tell me that I cannot think it has no effect. Hmm.

But ok, I'll play by your rules. Disparaging remarks about a BoD are more likely to have a negative effect on share price than a positive one. That said, the effect will be in proportion to the credibility of the one making the remarks. Let's say that Warren Buffett blasts the Wells Fargo board of directors. That would probably have some effect on the WFC share price, maybe short-lived, but a blip nonetheless. Let's say someone claiming to be Warren Buffet posted those remarks on Agora. I would think, and this is just me going way out on a limb, I would think that it would affect the price of WFC much less, let's say to the point of being less than the effect by a drunken trader fat fignering an extra 1 share sell 2 days previously. Now say an anonymous poster posted the same remarks here at Agora. The effect on on WFC would be even less, basically a micron this side of zero.

In summary, if given the false choice between anoymously posted disparaging remarks helping or hurting a share price, I would go with hurting. However, the degree would be minimal, so much so as to be negligible.

In the case of PTSC, the true believers are the ones constantly trying to buy their way into profitability so any negative comment to them falls on deaf ears. New investors need only look at the price trend, news, and SEC information to stay away. Those on the fence that come to Agora to determine whether to buy PTSC or not, those happy few with no stake and a bit of extra beer money, may, MAY make the ill-advised decision to rely on what they see here. And they would buy or not buy a few thousand shares based on whether someone here approves of the BoD or not. Out of 407 million outstanding.

You tell me if you think that means anything to share price. Not tape, mind you, but bonafide share price.

Do either of you actually have the guts to answer that honestly? Ask ronran for definition of guts if you need to.

Do you have the guts to ask a question without dictating the answer?
