The concern I have with PDSG is how viable they look from the outside.
With only 9 employees it would seem to be a business risk when a potential client considers:
Installation
Training
Client Support (365/24/7 for a critical data exchange component)
Bug fixes
Enhancements (whether paid for by the client or by PDSG for competitive positioning)
Pre-sales assistance, business analysis, specifications etc
Business development
Data transformations, ETL (Export, Transform, Load) jobs etc are rife with risks especially when upstream data is not sanitized (e.g. if the upstream systems are lax about data validation - I had one source which has some 400 unique "values" in a 2-character State field!
Any client would want to be assured of timely support is going to wonder how it can be done with 9 people if there are multiple clients.
Who at PTSC is considered the "leader" of this group? Who ties the "business" side to the "product" side?
