Perhaps the most important part of the Easter story is that Jesus was brutally killed by hard-liners because of their intolerance, prejudices, and fears.

Their have been thousands of Gods. But unfortunately, regardless of which god has been popular, some believers and non-believers at times have acted with brutality, intolerance, prejudices, and fear.

So it’s important to remember that it’s not what we say we believe that makes us a good person. It’s not the rituals, chants, or prayers that make us a good person. Simply, what matters is our daily acts of compassion, charity, and kindness towards others, especially to all those that think, believe, or look differently. Those that act this way are good people, no matter if they are Christian, Muslim, Jew, Humanist, Atheist or any other. These are my kind of people.
