Probably similar to what it cost PTSC. The difference is that the likes of HTC and Acer have more in their legal budget than PTSC has market cap. They get sued by far larger companies all the time.

The object for PTSC isn't to make them spend a lot in legal fees, it is to get the largest amount possible for licensing. PTSC can not win a war of attrition with HTC/Barco/Acer.
