You are missing the point.

If you admitedly did not read extensively, and by your own definition, you were selective in your reading, why make such a statement as

< I didn't pick up on any general theme that people were demanding a quick settlement with Leckrone.>

It seems a relative strong statement based on very minimal input. Perhaps I misinterpeted the rationale of why you chose to include those comments. Perhaps not.
