A "NEW" PDSG Strategy?

"The OpenCDX site launch is part of a larger strategic initiative by PDSG to expand their cloud-based services this year."
and
"We've acquired significant subject matter expertise over many different projects and years, discovering what works and what doesn't. "
What exactly is it that PDSG has learned that "works"? To date, the company has officially told us that what "works" is "continued negative cash flows", unsuccessful attempts to "partner or divest" PDSG, and apparently now realizes that also "a free service" is what works. I guess Mr. Kooy just earned his salary, and our BOD can spiff themselves with another bonus "for their efforts".
Cloud computing and SaaS are potentially big business models in the not too distant future, no doubt. What is NOT a great business model is jumping all over the board with your business plan AND especially your message to the markets. PDSG's communication skills apparently are a chip off the old PTSC block.
Perhaps PTSC/PDSG could provide a bit more information about "this larger strategic initiative", so as to bring some credibility to their missives. Perhaps PTSC/PDSG can inform how this latest "cloud" initiative is part of the "big picture" that seems in my opinion at least, to be the equivalent to throwing stuff againsta a wall to see what sticks. I'm sure (at least I hope) there is more to it than that, and that in the secure data sharing space, this "progression" of events makes some kind of sense, but as a shareholder of a public company who owns PDSG and who should be receiving a return on the investment, the road map of PDSG's business plan to date looks much like a trail of bread crumbs after Hurricane Katrina.
I know, I know, I gotta remember that SEC compliance is "paramount", but does yesterday's PR mean we've divested of PDSG, partnered with someone on PDSG, decided to go it alone some more with PDSG, turned the corner on profitability with PDSG, successfully culminated Greg Baroni's consulting re: PDSG, discovered the secret cloud of money with PDSG..... etc. etc. etc.
Where does yesterday's PR fit in with the message PTSC just provided about PTSC less than 4 months ago?
