Agreed. Facts and opinions with a foundation have always been fine with me, as they can serve to generate productive discussion and sharing of alternative perspectives regarding the event/circumstances/motivations.

Where I "get excited" is with is namecalling as you describe and wild exagerations of the truth, as with Bushleague's post the other day (please note that I voiced no concerns over the other negative comments/opinions of his/her post).

I may as well throw this in: posts containing conjecture about one thing or another do not necessarily have to come from an "expert" in that arena. Such posts could/should generate discussion or input from those who may be "expert" or more astute on the subject than others for everyone's benefit. I see this as a prime purpose of this message board.
