In light of a private message that I received from Ron, I am changing my position on writing directly to a judge. Ron makes a good point when he told me that judges can be irritated by letters from the public about a particular case, especially when those members of the public have an interest in the outcome. They want to be seen as impartial officials who make decisions based on law and evidence. I agree.
Ron did suggest that the best way to handle this would be to retain a lawyer to file an intervention and let him or her take these concerns to the court. However, as we all have discussed in the past, this is an expensive choice and not one that most of us are willing to pay for.
I still believe that it might not hurt to write to Charlie Hoge. Letters from shareholders presented to him might help PTSC. Again just my opinon.
