Given the heightened awareness of patents in recent months, and the strength of the MMP post USPTO assaults, I humbly disagree.

The Nortel patents went for 5x the expected price at auction.

Google snatched Motorola's patents for a premium.

My guess is the MMP would complement the global strategy of many companies; HP, IBM, Google, Apple all come to mind...

My thoughts and opinion only.
