But the issue today is patent work-arounds. It's been many years since these patents were issued. And there are many smart engineers out there that just love to find technical work-arounds for patents. I assure your that there are many many smart nerds in the world. And even with the big bonus dollars, Bonus $ < Licenses $. So the company wins and the engineer wins.
