In Ron's telephone conversation with CF....I think he intimated to Ron that licensing would be slow as we approach Markman because companies were more likely now to have a wait and see approach. Just as you commented above....why, if they have signed more licensees, did he go even further by suggesting that licensing at this point was unlikely ?

One thought I had was....TPL/PTSC do not want to bring any attention to the relatively small settlement packages that are taking place. Pretty hard to argue for big dollar settlements in court, when you are giving away the farm to same size companies on aregular basis. TPL has always said that keeping the numbers quiet was essential when moving on to the next potential partner. That approach should now, more than ever, be employed as we enter a critical phase of the trial.IMHO
