What would happen if a 50 million dollar publicized settlement were given to PTSC and TPL as a trial verdict?

I'll play. Now TPL and PTSC have a jury verdict in their favor and the USPTO completely in their favor. As a CEO of a fortune 500 company that possibly infringes and you were offered a relative discount to the 50 million verdict amount (say 25 million) given the multiple successes the MMP has achieved in all areas of importance, are you going to turn that down?
