Love Drew, but until Drew is sporting 4 rings, the closest he'll get to T.B.is the Black-N-Gold that he wears when he plays. Trying to compare today's pass friendly league to the 70's can't be done. Bradshaw and other QB's were making it to the Pro-Bowl with 1800 yards passing back in the day.
What IS the same though now and then is that the NFL is making new rules to counter the Steelers Defensive Dominance. They did it with the Mel Blount rule in the 70's and with the current poorly and unevenly applied helmet-to-helmet rules of today. Yet, what do we see, 3 SB appearances in 6 years, and likely a 4th this year with Lombardi No. 7 coming soone to a Pittsburgh Trophy Case near you!
Hopefully, kiddtrader's sense of timing will prove well based and we'll see a steady rise in the PPS as the Steelers, Saints, and Seahaw.... what...... er ..... they're NOT?! .... navigate their way to a match up in February!
