This is my take as well. That is why a positive Markman is so important. Even if Barco gets a summary judgement of non infringement there still might be thousands of companies that do infringe. The strategy might change at that point to become more aggressive with the lawsuits and drag some of these infringers into court. I recall the SJ being based on chips that they claim are not being used by them in the specified products. Corrections welcome.
