I don't think they really confirmed or denied if Apple has bought a license. Pretty much everyone just said they cannot comment on who may or may not have licensed because some licensees wanted it to be kept confidential. Lekrone did say that the whole Apple thing was a big misunderstanding. He did not elaborate on what the misunderstanding was.
