It's not like the Special Master is going to only now start to famaliarize himself with the motion to strike. It was the Speical Master that told Barco they needed to proceed differently because the motion was dispositive.

We will have to see if this delays action on the motion, but one has to wonder why the Judge did not hand off to the SM at the time he set the Feb 27th hearing date. ????
