Sorry.. no pics of the two lions when they were wandering around our camp in the Kalahari.. after my buddy had fallen asleep in a chair fire side.. and the fire had burned out... and they woke him up with a loud sniff from about 10 ft.. and he woke us up by softly calling our names.. and we realizing the situation, 'fortunately' distract the lions over to our tent, by singing, so he has enough time and room to get into our rig... Now they're interested in what's in the tent that was making that funny noise... My buddy finally starts the rig up and gives the horn a honk and they thunder off... only to return a while later.. with us in the rig watching and taping them... they wander off as the sun rises, as they realize the carion birds are begining to feed on their impala kill from earlier that night just below in the pan.. We thought initially in camp they were lionesses.. but as we got better looks we realize they are two young nomad males.. a couple yrs away from competing for their own pride...

to quote my wife.. 'holy ####'
