I agree with BaNo in toto. I also want to thank Kidd for his heads up on Mac and his position and for Ron for supporting Kidd. Kidd, is a solid long timer and to my knowledge his post are on point and though Kidd sometimes has an interesting way of posting it makes one think and as he rarely post anymore I always read his post as I do those of Ron.

MagnaBuschs at 1653 hours makes a very good point and I give him a thumbs up as I also would like to see a "solid" public partner whether that will happen I hope we will be told soon.

I believe that this "new partner" is already on board and that information is being withheld so as they can make use of (what they consider) more good news though the information Kidd supplied does raise legitimate questions.

Lastly.... all old timers especially those who attended the extremely large shm at LaCosta oh so many years ago.... may agree with my personal assessment of Mac. In my opinion Mac is a young polished chip off the old block. He is his Fathers son. Something I am sure Dan is proud of as most Fathers would be. However, when it comes to how it affects PTSC is another question.

Mac is without a doubt more polished then his Dad. He is an attorney much more subtle in his presentation then his Father. Whenever he spoke at any shm he attended I can never recall him going off topic. He was the power point man and like a well known public figure makes his points very well when reading from script prepared in advance. It is my opinion that this "change" of control within the MA or TPL, take your pick, I feel is more due to internal legal problems that Dan faces. I will bet that most of the recent legal defeats that TPL (Leckrone's) have faced have come with Dan being the name on most of the ownership documents involved.

Personally I would not be surprised if they did not separate ownership issues many years ago as old timers or those who have done DD on the history of the Leckrones will note that Dan has a history of fiscal defeats before the marriage of tpl and ptsc.

Considering I believe that Mac is the brighter legal mind of the duo I would speculate that the basics of the MA was Mac's much more then his Father though the fundamental premise and control issues probably could be laid at the Fathers feet.

So what am I saying? In a nutshell the Leckrones are not going to give up their interest or control (what they have of it) in the patents until it is pried from their hands or they receive what they perceive to be substantial value. It is for this reason I agree as I stated before that I also would like to see a "named" or at the very least a "strong resume" in a publicly held new partner for Patriot in directing the further prosecution of our patents. However, being a publicly held partner is not enough imo.

Patriots track record of teaming up with other companies has been nothing short of disastrous and in fact has cost us considerable amounts of capital . I would hope that any partner they took on at this juncture to help direct decisions would be run past our brighter shareholders and yes I refer to Ron, Brian and a few others who I will not name as I would be worried about leaving a name or two out and I would not want to insult those folks by inadvertent omission.

I could easily spend much more of your time and virtual ink explaining why I believe our Board needs to seek outside help in this "partner" decision, but I will not do so other then to say that where there is action on the part of Mac I believe that there will be the fingerprints of Dan.

Bottom line I am sure the Leckrones are still very much involved however I will withhold judgement on what is occurring is good for us or not until I see who the new partner is and how some of you such as Ron perceive this partners abilities to be in our quest for licensing. Last thought, though I would bet we will never know, I would bet that Mac and Dan had input on who "our" new partner is. If I am right then I am not sure if the old saying a rose by any other name does not apply so as is famously said by a contributor here.... we will see what we will see.

As for me I will let go and Let God handle my concerns on this issue as well as all others I have. My prayers go out to the Wolf and his family and all others on this board who may be facing a problem(s) or uncertainties in their life.

God Bless you all

marc
