I didn't know that DL is such a good writer. Being inventor myself and suffered losses due to this idea of advanced 'publication' of the invention. China is the biggest crook benefiting by this loophole. Even a laborer can copy any patent as published and file a patent in China without doing any research. That government issues a patent in just one year, way ahead of the original inventor even gets a first official action. The original inventor is in fact sued by Chinese counterpart if the inventor tries to sell his product in China and the Chinese govt supports that thief. It is famous that even a rickshaw puller has several patents in his portfolio. Pathetic situation.

I therefore agree 100% with the statement made by DL in the last paragraph "the loss of American innovative supremacy via “Publication” is a ligitimate concern and shoud be acted upon promptly before these thieves come to or doors to kick our b..tts. In fact, that is what is happening with MMP patents and we are so softly allowing them to plead and appeal and appeal and appeal. Democracy is a very costly affair for inventors.
