ads123, thanks for pointing out a posible reason. I am also wondering if she would have to recuse herself if her husband owns shares in one of the companies or is doing work for them with his new firm. For either one of them, is there a form that they are required by law to fill out listing their holdings? She does hold a public office job. Are lobbyists required to file a form as well? It just would be interesting to see what company either one of them would be involved with, Barco or Acer or???.

To me it is just interesting that someone so high up in the legal matters of our country is so connected to this situation that they have to recuse themselves. People high up are tied into this MMP thing/legal battle and it touches them. And they are aware enough to recuse themselves. I presume this is the reason or one of the reasons that Laurie pointed it out.

Even more interesting ( and less likely and I repeat and less likely) would be to find out that either one is a shareholder of PTSC. I am not pumping, it's just that weirder things have happened. And with this PTSC saga one has to admit there have been lots of weird occurances and connections. Still it is a possiblity, however remote.
