Ok, I'm lazy (to look it up), but if anyone cares to answer this I'd really appreciate it.
Has TPL/Alliacense gone after the downstream network providers such as Akamai, AT&T, Verizon, Limelight Network, Leucadia, others --- the long-haul fiber and content delivery folks?
Think if an injuction against these fellas were to be possibly enforced, how that would affect internet traffic, e-commerce, etc. Basically shut the whole thing down.
I'm beginning to think the "patents on water" are just that, and maybe we should be concerned that a judge and/or jury might just way "wait a minute you can't have an enforceable patent on water."
That would suck pond water.
