The mothership (TPL) needed funding. Sold a perpetual license to Barco for less than $5million, total. But that's ok. We still have two other large fish hooked. As long as we can get one of them to trial, the mission of obtaining a court victory can be accomplished.
Reminds me of the J3 case. Didn't Fujitsu settle just before they were named as defendants when the J3 litigations began ?
I believe the J3 got by, in settlement, with perpetual licenses, for less than $2million each.
