COMPLAINANTS TECHNOLOGY PROPERTIES LIMITED LLC, PHOENIX DIGITAL SYSTEMS LLC AND PATRIOT SCIENTIFIC CORPORATION’S IDENTIFICATION OF EXPERT WITNESSES Pursuant to Ground Rule 5 [Order No. 3] and the Procedural Schedule [Order No. 7], Complainants Technology Properties Limited LLC, Phoenix Digital Solutions LLC and Patriot Scientific Corporation (collectively “TPL”) hereby disclose the identity of persons who may potentially provide expert testimony at the hearing. The identification is based on the evidence produced to date. Discovery is ongoing, and TPL therefore reserves the right to supplement its identification of experts and/or areas of testimony for the identified expert as additional information becomes available or as new issues arise. In addition to the expert witness identified below, TPL reserves the right to offer appropriate opinion testimony from lay witnesses that it calls at the hearing in this Investigation as to matters within the perception of the lay witnesses. TPL further reserves the right to supplement its identification of experts in response to the Respondents’ initial expert reports for issues on which the Respondents bear the burden of proof. TPL also reserves the right to rely on any expert opinion offered by any other party in the Investigation.
1. Dr. Vojin Oklobdzija Dr. Vojin Oklobdzija is an expert in electrical and computer engineering. Dr. Oklobdzija may testify on matters related to U.S. Patent No. 5,809,336 (“the ’336 patent”) including the background and subject matter of the technology, state of the art, description of the person of ordinary skill in the art, the meaning of the claim terms from the vantage point of one of ordinary skill in the art, validity, enforceability, infringement, the technical prong of the domestic industry requirement, and any other contentions or issues raised by Respondents relating to the ’336 patent.
