Follow this if you will:

Scenario

PDS signs license with Barco on Nov 30 and receives $$$. It recognizes the revenue at the time of the license which in this case is the same date.

PDS doesn't distribute the Barco money to Patriot until Dec.3 which is past the deadline for the NOv. 30 quarterly results. If Patriot recognizes the money at the time it receives the distribution then wouldn't it report the Barco dollars in subsequent events? If on the other hand, Patriot recognizes the money based on the license date, then Barco money would be included in Nov 30 results. What then is subsequent events $$$ attributed to?
