Ahhh... I was looking in the post I wrote to l2007S, rather than the one to opty.
Yes, funds or proceeds was more what I meant. I didn't mean "revenue" in the accounting sense as much as I meant it as being a generic source of money to pay the license fee. To clarify, I did not mean revenues on which to base the license fee.
My example was along the lines of if the company were a small one with limited cash on hand that was going (or needed to go) through an IPO or a round of PIPE financing at the time of the license, PDS could, perhaps agree to defer a portion of the fee contingent on the completion of that process so they wouldn't deplete the company's cash on hand.
