<Correct me if I'm wrong, Brown was looking to get the court to rule in favor of an "alter ego" motion by Brown's attorneys to hold Leckrone accountable for the dollars owed Brown. I believe the court ruled against Brown in this instance which clears the way for Leckrone to lead TPL into Chapter 11,>
Close, but not quite. Brown lost the alter ego part of the case, but filed an appeal. I suspect that appeal has something to do with the Chapter 11 filing. Brown had indicated to the judge (just the day before I believe) that TPL threatened recently to make such a filing. So the question is whether the threat was hollow, in that it didn't matter wherther or not Brown complied with whatever was being asked of him? I suspect it did.
