If the chip manufacturers get a license going after the end manufacturer of the designed circuit boards is moot.

Qualcom has turned into a chip manufacturer, they are most likel selling thier chips, in which if we license qualcom or any other chip producer, we will boxed in, and not able to collect from the end users.

Its one or the other, I suspect that PTSC is going only for the end users, the end users I predict will turn around and sue Qualcom, ARM, Motorola for not advising them that they needed a license to purchase their designed chips.

This is going to slowly chock ARM, Motorola and others that chose to to settle amicably.

And in the end, PTSC may wind up producing chips after all and slowly putting a nail in thier evil vampire infringing hearts.

NOW hopefully PTSC as an award from the Judges Bench (not sure if can be done) may get extended life on the patents because the infringers just dragged thier feet and kept asking for revalidations knowing very well that they infringed.
