I know everyone here wants to stay positive, but sometimes I wonder if people aren't burying their heads in the sand.

I got into the stock late, so I didn't pay the higher prices that some may have and I'm not as invested as some others (I've seen some of the amounts of money being mentioned), but I am concerned. I don't understand what the off chip oscillator does if the VCO doesn't require it. Why is it even included then? Just for the PLL? But isn't that then used by the VCO to clock the chip?
