I received a phone call this morning asking me if i would be willing to answer a few survey questions rearding the Apple VS Samsung patent case. Anyone else receive a call like this? Strange call.....regarding a Patent and lawsuit. Given the White Houses statements regarding patents, I found the call to be unusual in that it seems that maybe the "politicians" are testing the waters of public opinion.

The questions were:

1) Was I aware of the case?

2) Was I aware of the amount of damages awarded?

3) Who won the case?

4) Were the damages awarded too low, just right or excessive?

5) Did I feel that the case had merit?

6) Who do I think should have won the case?

7) My opinions on the case?

I am sure we have all had phone calls asking to participate in a survey. But, I found this one usual because it was of a court case, high tech companies, Patents and damage awards....not the usual topic for a random survey phone call....
