From Leckrone's perspective..

It seem reasonable that the outcome of OUR case would be a critical event for HIS future.

If He loses this, there is a GOOD possibility that he would NOT get any more PATENT cases to prosecute, due to the perception that he is a LOSER..

On the other hand if he/we would win this at the NDoC,the news might raise his stature among patent promoters/protectors and bring him more , "CLIENTS".

Otherwise a loss COULD spell the END of his patent business.

EVERYBODY LOVES A WINNER...
