You have had "something" Tom. Over these last 4 years that PTSC has been at these relative PPS levels, you have have had 44 "settlements" and they've garnered somewhere north of $40M depending on what the last 4 have brought in. All it's done is fed Lecky and the BOD.

I won't be surprised if there is a settlement, as I've said I fully expect one. And similarly, if it happens, I fully expect the status quo if not a pps decline from it, even if after a short uptick.

I don't doubt it's likely HTC will appeal a verdict against them. So what. A US District Court Jury will have ruled that the tech they use INFRINGES! Once that happens, THEN we'll see others fall in line like you say. Do you really think that Samsung is going to see an HTC settlement without a verdict and come knocking on TPL's door to settle as well? Maybe if it were for a serious discount, sure, but why settle now when they can prolong the legal process for another 6-12 months and settle then.... IF going concern PDS is still in business at that point?
