Wow! IMO, that's definitely a "lost the forest for the trees" short-sigted paradigm.

The BEST thing that we can do with HTC is get an overall MMP license settlement from them quickly that cements the VERDICT and do it as quickly as possible! I hope that comes with substantial additional license fee, but even if for only a small amount (or perhaps no more $$), the benefits far outweigh the lost revenue, IMO.

The opportunity costs represented by a renewed fight with HTC vs. a cemented verdict that would then pressure the ITC or CAFC to overturn the ITC ID, and allow us to turn our sights onto Samsung, Huawei, IBM, Dell, Hitachi, EDS, Siemens, & Arm Holdigns, NOW ARMED with fully re-examed VALID patents AND a verdict of infringement, IMO are totally not worth it.
