"The HTC award was based on a limited number of products and a 2-3 year time span, was it not?"
The 2-3 year time span and "limited products" doesn't come into play with respect to the .000125 number and 1/10th of our asking price.
We claimed that the value of the limited number of products in question generated revenue of $8B in the time period specified. We applied a "conservative tier 3 asking price" of .00125 to generate our $10M asking price. $8B x .00125 = $10M. The Jury awarded us $958.6K for those same products during that same time frame.
Therefore, we go 1/10th of our asking price roughly. Actually, based on a flat $8B, it works out to .00011982, rather than .00125. So it's actually slightly less than 1/10th of our asking price IF INDEED it was based on the full $8B estimate.
