Protect their agreements from what? Being declared invalid? Wouldn't that be nice to have DL gone and a chance for us to renegotiate a license with AAPL?
As I recall from the SHM where the AAPL deal was revealed to have been in a drawer, the license may have parts to it or stipulations based on certain criteria that was not discussed. Then again it has been stated here that the deal was all finished and done and nothing more was going to be paid, ever. Then we are back to your comment about protection and why they are there. I would guess there is some kind of jeapordy to those agreements. The next question is what kind of jeapordy? In part I bet it is financial. It always is about MONEY.....! I just hope we shareholders get most of it this time around!
