ARM's TechCon is in Santa Clara October 1-3. I unfortunately, cannot be.
Conference keynotes promise lots of perspectives, but we promise you’ll get a perspective at ARM TechCon you’ve never had before. As in, from 20 feet above the show floor! How, you ask? We’ve just added world-renowned Chris Anderson, the CEO of 3D Robotics, who’ll deploy one of his company’s camera-equipped drones during his keynote to help demonstrate and discuss the future of robotics and drone technology. You know Anderson from his best-seller “The Long Tail” and as editor of “Wired” magazine, now hear what one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” has to say about the maker market, ARM’s role in it, and how you can be a part of the “next industrial revolution.”

Coinciding with Chris Anderson’s Keynote, one of our Expo Theater sessions will be focusing on the inside working of Drone technology, powered by ARM:
“Product Teardown: Parrot Rolling Spider Microdrone” Drone aircraft are making news, and a popular one that’s just started shipping is Parrot’s Rolling Spider microdrone. Controlled by a smartphone, it has autopilot flight stabilization and a mini camera for snapping pictures from above. It’s got ARM inside, and we’re going to take one apart to see exactly what else is in there and how it works. Presenter: Rich Quinnell, Editor-in-Chief, IoT World
