Your link showed a contact and phone number for Tom Rigoli who is associated with the TPL group. This is the profile of a Tom Rigoli. Sounds like he may be the one in your link. If so what does this tell us? I searched his name as being connected with TPL and could not find anything. Yet it could be a new association and not in the systems yet. If this guy is the one with TPL it could be a positive??? Someone with a Linked In account might be able to see and relay more...... Seems the guy is more about PR. If you read the paragraph just before his list of skills and hear how he got started in the fifties with his matress you might laugh! Then read his skills and see semiconductors???

Tom Rigoli's Summary

Tom has been advising Silicon Valley companies for more than three decades. Prior to reactivating his consultancy in 2001, he served as VP of Corporate Communications for Cirrus Logic Inc. During his 7-year tenure with this Silicon Valley chip maker, he worked closely with CEO and co-founder Mike Hackworth as sales grew from about $400 million to more than $1 billion.

Prior to joining the Cirrus executive team in 1994, Tom was a principal in a full-service marketing and communications agency for more than 20 years. At its peak, the premier Silicon Valley agency employed a staff of 21. Notable clients included Applied Materials, Lam Research, Novell, SEMI, Signetics (now Philips Semiconductors), Siliconix (now Vishay Siliconix), Fujitsu Semiconductor, OKI Semiconductor, Wind River and the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency.

Tom began building his reputation as a communications expert early in his career when he joined EDN magazine in 1969 as its first San Francisco editor. During his two years with this monthly magazine for electronic designers, he chronicled the early high-tech developments in the South Bay before it became known as Silicon Valley. He subsequently served one year with Quantum Science analyzing high-tech markets for the financial community. Prior to joining EDN, Tom served, six years with GTE Sylvania, where he worked as an electronic field engineer on Top Secret military programs in the US and overseas.

Tom attended Syracuse University on a full-tuition scholarship that he won in New York state-wide competition with other top students. He completed studies for two undergraduate degrees in five years, earning a BSEE and an AB in Math.

Specialties: Strategic marketing and communications counsel based on 35+ years working with Silicon Valley companies, both large and small. Superb writing skills across all communications channels.

"My romance with electronics took root when I was growing up in Jamestown, New York, in the 1950s.
