I feel somewhat reluctant about wishing everyone a happy new year, because of recent events that have racked mankind and caused complete destruction in Asia. It`s sobering to know that sometimes it`s not man alone who can make the world a perilous place to dwell, and I shake my head in amazement that I and my family are so lucky to be safe.....

If any of you have relatives or friends in the affected parts of Asia, I hope all are well and free from harm. If anyone has kin or freinds affected, I offer my sincere sorrow....

We ``compatriots`` have had am encouraging year, and with some luck and prayer, we will see better things in the que of events to come. It`s been demonstrated that skilled people are working hard to move this monster in the right direction and I hope their intelligence, guts and efforts prove them to be fortunate warriors for which they receive deserving awards.

But we need to stop, take a look, and maybe even pat ourselves on the back for risking our precious time to stay and continue reading story called Patriot Scientific. Sometimes slow moving and boring, perplexing, mysterious, dashed with a sprinkle of some excitement and promise....

I hope this continues to be a good read for 2005.
