Intelesys sues Intelasys over Intelesys name
A MARYLAND corporation called Intelesys is suing a Maryland corporation called Intelasys over unfair competition associated with the use of this name.
Look, we`re hoping you`re going to follow this. Intelesys is a firm which specialises in computer consulting, engineering and technology services provided to the defence and intelligence community including the National Security Agency.
According to Intelesys, its marks are well known in the defence and intelligence industry and to the NSA in particular. But Intelesys claims Intelasys is also providing similar services. The second one bids on many of the same government contracts as the first one does.
So the first one wants a trial to stop the second one from doing this.
Both should be aware that a firm called Intel, which makes duffel bags, keyrings and stuffed toys, as well as CPUs, is extremely jealous of its ``Intel`` trademark
