from here i agree with you, however, in any job (one is performing), all doing of a person is based on the attitude (moral) and values of his individual personality.

If one´s (a lawyer´s, judge´s, ) focus is selfish financial greed (or financial saftyness) only, than the ethical part may be supressed. IMO it is a (individual) egocentrical personality.

We all in the world are confronted with this kind of personalities, you at the moment in the U.S. We as well in Europe.

The function the person is fullfilling may have more or less disastrous direct or indirect impact to other´s (society).
