If my memory serves me correctly, this is the first time I can recall seeing a summary that really details the impact that the 336 had on chip design as it relates to processor speed improvements. The chronological recap and interactions with the patent office can't be ignored, or can it?. I am glad to see it in any event...

This is probably the single most important design improvement for chips that still holds true today. And to date, we have not gotten rewarded for the genius of Moore and Fish. The only ones to get rewarded were scumball Leckrone and our idiot BOD's that continue to bleed the treasury.

I wonder when the nightmare will end, if it hasn't already. I am holding out to the bitter end!
