Helmut was so enthusiastic and optimistic about the chip. His death was so soon after he alerted me after I met with him and Woody. I’m not even sure Woody knew at that time. Helmut and I had previously been based in Monaco for several years, covering some European markets as well as the USSR via an office in the Intourist Moscow.
